BEACH BUMS!!
2 weeks ago we had our family trip to Destin. It was ABSOLUTELY wonderful!!
We LOVE the beach and I was soo glad that Brad took off from work this year to go try and "rest/relax" with us. (He didn't get to go last year)
Connor of course absolutley is taking after his momma in becoming a great beach bum!!
This year being 2 he still LOVED the sand is pretty content to play in it as long as you would let him. He did still run in and out of the waves...still not wanting to be out in the water much. He absolutley loves the pool and I do think he might be part fish still. He did a FANTASTIC job of playing with his toys in the sand by himself...we all rotated playing and resting. Although he could have been happy playing independently also.
We had beautiful weather...no rain...the beach was soo fun,water good, temperatures-PERFECT, the pool same as always (the place to go right after the beach for about 20 minutes), the shopping great, the food yummy (it's always my goal to eat as much shrimp as possible), the putt putt- a new course this year, the rest and play times unforgettable and the family time MUCH NEEDED!!
Why is it soo exciting to go and way soo sad to leave?Time truly flies when having fun- and boy did we!
I could show a million photos and some video...but I'll only post several. For those of you who have been already or are going to the beach know how its goes and those who don't like it or will not be going this summer I'm not trying to make you jealous or sad...it was SUPER DUPER for us though.
